Anyone that knows me well knows that I am a huge fan of Momofuku, to the point that it is laughable how much I talk about it (I brought Ginger Scallion Noodles - a recipe from their cookbook - for lunch 3 times this week). About a month ago I had the opportunity to interview David Chang of Momofuku for the Late Night blog. Here are the two videos that came out of it - one about how to cook good instant ramen and an interview with him about eating cheap in NYC. I don’t know if you can tell, but David Chang is a super normal nice dude (aside from the fact that he gave me crap about how bad UNC was at basketball last year and kept saying “Go Duke” the whole time - not cool, Chang). This dude has been doin’ his thing for a minute now. The cousin of Ice Cube, this bay area MC, also former member of Ice Cube’s Lench Mob crew, is the soul leader of the Hieroglyphics. “The Funkee Homosapien” is one of my all-time favorites

Recently I’ve been reminiscing and singing the praises of Del and the Hieroglyphics crew (and in all this I totally forgot Del was Ice Cube’s cousin). Del is an amazing MC, incredibly creative, always with innovative and catchy beats. Get on some Del and Hieroglyphics for real.
