Fake service advisory at Metropolitan G stop.
oh wow. oh wow. yup.
This sums up a lot about the MTA and how frustrating their service is. While this is a more Brooklynized version (the L and the G are pretty Brooklyn specific trains), the PA system part and the parts in smaller print are pretty dead on. “You get to listen to the ENTIRE podcast!” Funnytown.
I really wish someone would take on the MTA as a revamping project but I really do think it’s tied up in mob red tape and is super unorganized, and in general would be a nightmare to clean up. I’m not trying to be ungrateful, I love getting around on the subway, there are just so many inconsistencies and general frustrations that seeing something like this feels vindicating. I’m sure that given the size and scope of NYC, the MTA does a good job of moving people day in and day out to work and back, but things could definitely be better.
Ok ok, I’m done. Hey where are you guys going? I’m done I said.
