There are 24 days left in August (not counting today) and Summer is counting down. I’m on a quest to do something Summery every day til Summer ends (which by my calculations is September 21st - I calculated this by setting up a sun dial and buying a few ashtoreth poles. Then just went to Wikianswers instead). Growing up in the South and going back to school in late August means that I get my Summer-ending anxiety about now. So the Squeeze-It-Out-Of-Summer Summer Ending Quest beginneth.
And there are 25 days left in Summer counting today. Because, according to this song, Summer starts TODAY. Now I need to go swim, eat some watermelon, or at least put on suntan lotion.
UPDATE: I watched a TV show with Laird Hamilton and Eddie Vedder surfing together. That counts for today.
